At the 30th session, held on 24 March 2017, the members of the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree rejecting the complaint lodged by voter Dejan Tadic from Sombor against the Instructions for the conduct of the voting in the presidential election called for 2 April 2017 on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija, as not allowed.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Decision establishing the numerical representation of criteria for the appointment of polling board members on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija.
The Commission members proceeded to adopt a Decree amending the Additional Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017, for 6. ABROAD, wherein the name and address of polling station 48 are changed. They also adopted the Decree amending the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017, for 25. ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT PCINJA, 158. VLADICIN HAN, wherein the name of polling station 52 is changed.
The REC members adopted the Decision amending the Decision on the establishment of the Republic Electoral Commission Working Body in the city of Uzice and the Decision amending the Decision on the appointment of Republic Electoral Commission Coordinator.
The Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission then informed the members that the Woking Group for observers had reviewed 19 applications and authorized the following to monitor the work of the bodies conducting the election for President of the Republic called for 2 April 2017: civic association Citizens on Watch, CRTA, Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Danish Initiative for Dialogue and Democracy – SILBA, UK Embassy in Belgrade, Ukrainian Embassy in Belgrade, Bulgarian Embassy in Belgrade, US Embassy in Belgrade, Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR), Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Canadian Embassy in Belgrade, Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Belgrade, Italian Embassy in Belgrade, Australian Embassy in Belgrade, Nigerian Embassy in Belgrade, Swiss Embassy in Belgrade and the organization Eurasia Centre.

At the 29th session, held on 22 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the establishment of polling boards for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017 and the appointment of polling board standing composition chairpersons and members and their substitutes.
The REC members went on to adopt the Decree amending the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election.
The Republic Electoral Commission also passed the Instructions for the conduct of the voting in the presidential election on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija.

At the 28th session, held on 20 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decision on the shape and appearance of the ballots the voters will cast their votes on in the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
According to the Decision the ballots for the presidential election will be printed in one, two, three, four or five language variants, depending on the languages and scripts in official use in a given municipality/city in the Republic of Serbia, that is on A-4 and A-3 formats depending on the number of language variants on the ballot.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the appointment of a representative of the nominator of Luka Maksimovic for President of the Republic into the REC expanded composition, making Relja Joksimovic, Bachelor of Laws from Mladenovac, substitute member of the REC expanded composition, as representative of the Civic Group Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli, Beli – Just Strong, nominator of candidate Luka Maksimovic for President of the Republic in the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The Commission members proceeded to adopt a Decree amending the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017, for 17. ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT ZLATIBOR, 113. NOVA VAROS, wherein the name and address of polling stations 32 and 43 was changed.
The REC members also adopted the Decision amending the Decision on the establishment of the Republic Electoral Commission Working Body in the municipality of Sid, and the Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic informed the members that the representatives of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation were authorized to monitor the work of the bodies conducting the election for President called for 2 April 2017.

At the 27th session held on 18 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decision announcing the total number of voters in the Republic of Serbia, as noted on 17 March 2017, which is 6,724,172.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree establishing the number of ballots for the voting in the presidential election called for 2 April 2017. The Decree establishes that 6,757,793 ballots will be printed viz.: 6,724,172 ballots, which is the total number of voters in the Republic of Serbia as noted on 17 March 2017, plus 33,621 spare ballots which is 0.5 % of the total number of voters in the Republic of Serbia, as stipulated by Law.
The Commission proceeded to pass the Decision designating the start and end time for the voting at the polling stations abroad. The polling stations in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, South African Republic, Qatar, China, Lebanon, Macedonia, Malta, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Finland, France, Netherlands, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden will be open for voting on 2 April 2017, 7 am to 8 pm local time, while the polling stations in the UK, Canada and the USA will be open for voting on 1 April 2017, 7 am to 8 pm local time.

The following are established as candidates for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017:
The list shall be published in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia”.
The Commission members proceeded to adopt decisions amending the decisions on the establishment of the Republic Electoral Commission working bodies in the city of Kragujevac and municipality of Stara Pazova.
The REC members also adopted the Decree amending the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election.

17 March 2017
At the session held on 17 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission conducted a draw to establish the order of candidates for President of the Republic on the ballot for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The session was chaired by Vladimir Dimitrijevic, Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission.
The draw which was broadcast live on the RTS Public Service Channel Two, in addition to the members of the Republic Electoral Commission, was attended by representatives of all the nominators.
Commission Chairperson Vladimir Dimitrijevic and Commission Deputy Chairperson Zeljka Radeta participated in the draw, while Commission Secretary and Deputy Secretary Srdjan Smiljanic and Branko Marinkovic, respectively, assisted the draw.
REC Chairperson Vladimir Dimitrijevic noted that representatives of all the candidates are present, and Deputy Chairperson Zeljka Radeta briefed all present on the draw procedure. The REC Chairperson established that the material necessary to conduct the draw was complete and sound, after which the draw was performed.
Hawing established the order of candidates on the ballot by the draw and noted that none of the representatives of the nominators and Commission members present have any objections, the REC Chairman announced the following order of candidates on the ballot for the election of President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017:

At the 24th session, held on 17 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission rejected the complaint lodged by the Civic Group “White Ship – Captain Vuc@ic” against irregularities in the procedure for the nomination of presidential candidates as untimely.

At the 23rd session, held on 16 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the explanation for the implementation of Article 16, paragraph 4, of the Instructions for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The REC members went on to adopt the Decree amending the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Decree amending the Additional Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election.
Under item 4 on the agenda, the REC members adopted the Decree designating 67 polling stations where persons serving in the Serbian Armed Forces can vote in the presidential election.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Decision on the formulation of the text of the press statement for the voters in the Republic of Serbia relating to the manner of exercising their voting rights in the presidential election.
The Commission members proceeded to adopt the Decision amending and modifying the Decision on the establishment of the Republic Electoral Commission working bodies.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree appointing Nikolina Lipovsek, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, member of the REC expanded composition, as representative of the Civic Group “LJUBISA PRELETACEVIC BELI, BELI – JUST STRONG”, nominator of candidate Luka Maksimovic for President of the Republic.
Finally, the REC members adopted the Decision on the appointment of Republic Electoral Commission Coordinator.

At the 22nd session, held on 15 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree rejecting to proclaim Predrag Vucetic candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017.
The Commission proceeded to adopt decisions on the establishment of 161 working bodies of the Republic Electoral Commission.
The Commission members then rejected the complaint lodged by Vladimir Gvozdenovic against the Instructions for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree amending and modifying the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.

At the 21st session, held on 14 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission considered the complaint lodged by Miroje Jovanovic from Novi Sad against the Republic Electoral Commission’s Decree proclaiming Luka Maksimovic candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, and decreed to reject the complaint as unfounded.
The Commission went on to adopt the Decision on awarding the Contract for the public procurement of UV lamps for the conduct of the presidential election.

At the 20th session, held on 13 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards.
The Commission went on to adopt the Decision establishing the numerical representation of criteria for the appointment of members of the standing composition of polling boards for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.

At the 19th session, held on 13 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission reviewed and decided to reject the Conclusion Proposal on the elimination of deficiencies of the Proposal of candidate Luka Maksimovic for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, submitted by the Civic Group Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli, Beli – Just Strong.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Decree proclaiming Luka Maksimovic, student of communicology, candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, at the proposal of the Civic Group Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli, Beli – Just Strong.

At the 18th session, held on 13 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Milan Stamatovic, technology technician from Cajetina, Zlatibor, candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, at the proposal of the Civic Group “FOR HEALTHY SERBIA - MILAN STAMATOVIC”, supported by 12,027 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, and the Decree appointing Slobodan Popovac and Borislav Mitrovic, bachelors of laws from Belgrade, member and substitute member, respectively, of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the nominator of candidate Milan Stamatovic.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Conclusion demanding that the Civic Group “White Ship – Captain Vuc@ic”, nominator of candidate Predrag Vucetic for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, 48 hours at the latest from the submission of the Conclusion, eliminate the deficiencies noted on the candidate proposal.
The Republic Electoral Commission then adopted the Decree proclaiming Miroslav Parovic, engineer of electrotechnics and computer science - master from Novi Sad, candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, at the proposal of the PEOPLE’S FREEDOM MOVEMENT. The nominator had acted in accordance with the REC Conclusion on the elimination of deficiencies noted on the candidate proposal and submitted additional 544 legally sound voters' endorsements, thus the candidacy of Miroslav Parovic for President of the Republic was supported by 10,390 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, and the Decree appointing Milos Jancic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, and Petar Mijanovic lawyer from Novi Sad, member and substitute member, respectively, of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the nominator of candidate Miroslav Parovic.
The Republic Electoral Commission then adopted the Decree proclaiming Nenad Canak, economist from Novi Sad, candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, at the proposal of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, supported by 11,004 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, and the Decree appointing Bojan Pudar and Jelena Zlojutro, bachelors of laws from Belgrade and Novi Sad, member and substitute member, respectively, of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the nominator of candidate Nenad Canak.

At the 17th session, held on 12 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Prof. Dr Aleksandar Popovic, doctor of chemical sciences from Belgrade, candidate for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, at the proposal of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS).
Prof. Dr Aleksandar Popovic’s candidacy was supported by 10,030 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, and the Decree appointing Milos Janic and Nikola Todorovic, bachelors of laws from Belgrade, member and substitute member, respectively, of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), nominator of candidate Prof. Dr Aleksandar Popovic for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission then proceeded to pass the Additional Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017. The Commission designated 90 polling stations on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija and 53 polling stations abroad, in 32 countries.

Candidate Sasa Radulovic was nominated by the Civic Group “Enough is Enough”, supported by 10,579 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards.

At the 15th session, held on 11 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Conclusion demanding that the PEOPLE’S FREEDOM MOVEMENT, nominator of candidate Miroslav Parovic for President of the Republic in the election called for 2 April 2017, 48 hours at the latest from the submission of the Conclusion, eliminate the deficiency noted on the Candidate proposal by submitting a minimum of 154 legally sound voters' endorsements of the candidate nomination.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to rule on the complaint lodged by Andrija Janicijevic from Zemun against violation of voting rights and decreed to reject the complaint as unfounded.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the proposal of REC expanded composition member Prof. Dr Vesna Rakic Vodinelic to forward the complaint lodged by Andrija Janicijevic from Zemun against violation of voting rights to the Ministry and Justice and the Chamber of Public Notaries.

At the 14th session, held on 10 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Bosko Obradovic, professor of Serbian language and literature from Cacak, candidate for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
Candidate Bosko Obradovic was nominated by the Serbian Movement Dveri, supported by 11,212 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representatives of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree appointing Ognjen Djuric, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, member, and Bojan Bajceta, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, substitute member of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of Serbian Movement Dveri, nominator of candidate Bosko Obradovic for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.

Candidate Vuk Jeremic was nominated by the Civic Group “WE MUST DO BETTER”, supported by 14,360 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representative of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, and the Decree appointing Vesna Ciric, Bachelor of Laws from Valjevo, member, and Iva Djindjic Cosic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, substitute member of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the Civic Group “WE MUST DO BETTER”, nominator of candidate Vuk Jeremic for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
The Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission then informed the members that the Woking Group for observers had reviewed and accepted the application for domestic observer to monitor the work of the bodies conducting the election for President of the Republic called for 2 April 2017, submitted by the Lawyers’ Committee for Human Rights –YUCOM.

At the 12th session, held on 9 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree appointing Bojana Bojic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, member, and Uros Krsic Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, substitute member of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the Serbian Radical Party, nominator of candidate Dr Vojislav Seselj for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission then proceeded to pass the Decree designating the polling stations for the presidential election called for 2 April 2017. The Commission designated 8,523 polling stations, 8,224 in towns and municipalities, and 29 in facilities for the enforcement of criminal sanctions.
The members of the Republic Electoral Commission also adopted a Decision establishing the numerical representation of criteria for the appointment of members of the working bodies of the Republic Electoral Commission.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted a Decision on conveying information to the Republic Electoral Commission about the course of the voting in the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission informed the members that the Woking Group for observers had reviewed and accepted the application for domestic observer to monitor the work of the bodies conducting the election for President called for 2 April 2017 submitted by the Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID).

At the 11th session, held on 6 March, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Dr Vojislav Seselj, university professor from Zemun, candidate for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
Candidate Dr Vojislav Seselj was nominated by the Serbian Radical Party, supported by 12,976 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representative of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Operating Rules for the polling boards for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.
The Republic Electoral Commission also ruled on the complaint lodged by Ljubomir Grujic from Belgrade against irregularities in the procedure for nomination of candidates for President of the Republic and adopted a Decree rejecting it as untimely.
The REC members then adopted the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly operating funds in the part relating to expenditure planned and executed for the financing of the regular operation and electoral activities of the Republic Electoral Commission in 2016.
The Republic Electoral Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree appointing Prof. Dr Vesna Rakic Vodinelic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, member, and Ljiljana Benac Santic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, substitute member of the REC expanded composition, as representatives of the Civic Group “For Serbia without Fear”, nominator of candidate Sasa Jankovic for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.

At the 10th session, held on 5 March, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Sasa Jankovic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, candidate for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
Candidate Sasa Jankovic was nominated by the Civic Group “For Serbia without Fear”, supported by 17,134 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representative of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards, as well as the Decision on the appointment of Republic Electoral Commission Coordinator.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt decrees on the allocation of terms of office of National Council members for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Council of the Hungarian National Minority and the National Council of the Croatian National Minority.
Member of the National Council of the Hungarian National Minority Istvan Bacskulin had tendered resignation to the office of council member, so the Republic Electoral Commission allocated the term of office to Marta Horvath Odry, the next candidate on the VMDK-CSONKA ÁRON candidate list.
Member of the National Council of the Croatian National Minority Ivan Usumovic had tendered resignation to the office of council member, so the Republic Electoral Commission allocated the term of office to Verica Ivkovic Ivandekic, the next candidate on the candidate list headed by SLAVEN BACIC.
Finally, Vladimir Dimitrijevic, Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission, informed the REC members that associations Citizens on Watch and Centre for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA) have been authorised to monitor the work of the bodies in charge of conducting the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.

At the session held on 5 March, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree proclaiming Aleksandar Vucic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, candidate for President of the Republic at the election called for 2 April 2017.
Candidate Aleksandar Vucic was nominated by the Coalition Aleksandar Vucic-Serbian Progressive Party, Socialist Party of Serbia-Ivica Dacic, Social Democratic Party of Serbia-Rasim Ljajic, United Serbia-Dragan Markovic Palma, Party of United Pensioners of Serbia-Milan Krkobabic, Movement of Socialists-Aleksandar Vulin, Serbian Renewal Movement-Vuk Draskovic, Strength of Serbia Movement-BK-Bogoljub Karic, Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians-Vajdásagi Magyar Szövetség - Istvan Pasztor.
The candidacy was supported by 56,516 legally sound voters' endorsements.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Decree on the fulfilment of requisites for the appointment of representative of the nominator of the candidate for the presidential election into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission and polling boards.

At the session held on 2 March 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Instructions for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017, and accompanying forms, and the Decision on the forms for the submission of nominations of candidates for President.
The REC members went on to adopt the Timeline for the performance of electoral activities in the course of the conduct of the election for President of the Republic called for 2 April 2017.
The REC then proceeded to adopt the Decision amending the Decision on the establishment of Republic Electoral Commission working groups, as well as the accompanying financial decisions for the conduct of the presidential election called for 2 April 2017.

At the seventh session, held on 14 February 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decision to designate Official Gazette Public Enterprise, Belgrade, the printing house for the ballots and other electoral material for the conduct of the election for President of the Republic in 2017.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Decision designating the colour of the ballot for the coming presidential election as turquoise (PANTONE 317 U), while the control card to test the integrity of the ballot box would printed on peach (PANTONE 169 U) coloured paper.
As item three on the agenda, the REC members also formulated the memo to be sent to the Office for Kosovo-Metohija regarding the conduct of the coming presidential election on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo-Metohija.

At the sixth session, held on 7 February 2017, the Republic Electoral Commission reviewed the notice of the president of the National Council of the Albanian National Minority on the termination of the term of office of Agon Ajeti, member of the National Council of the Albanian National Minority, due to resignation.
In line with the abovementioned notice, the Republic Electoral Commission ascertained that the conditions have not been met to review the request and concluded that the submitter needs to submit complete documentation after which the notice would be reviewed at one of the coming sessions.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Decree on the allocation of a term of office of National Council member for the purpose of filling a seat at the National Council of the Czech National Minority vacated by the death of Jozef Skornjicka, member of the National Council of the Czech National Minority, and allocated the term of office to Ljiljana Stehlik.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decision on the transference of the electoral material for the parliamentary elections held on 24 April and 4 May 2016.
The Republic Electoral Commission also accepted the request of the Enough is Enough Parliamentary Group for access to information of public importance.
