40th Session of the Republic Electoral Commission

At the 40th session, held on 15 October 2014, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the establishment of polling boards for the conduction of the direct elections for national minority councils, called for 26 October 2014.

The REC proceeded to pass a Decision on the shape and appearance of the ballots for the direct elections for national minority council members, called for 26 October 2014. The ballots for the election of the members of the national councils of the Bunjevac, Vlach, Greek, German, Roma, Slovenian and Ukrainian national minority will be printed in Serbian, using the Cyrillic script. For the election of the members of the national councils of the Albanian, Bosniak, Bulgarian Egyptian, Hungarian, Romanian, Ruthenian, Slovak and Czech national minority, the ballots will be bilingual in Serbian, Cyrillic script, and the script of the national minority.

In the continuation of the session, the members of the Republic Electoral Commission did not accept the proposal of the chief of the Sjenica Municipal administration to change a working body member.

The session was chaired by Ivan Sebek, Deputy Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission.
